Civic Reception - Monday 18 June 2007 1730 - 1830 hrs in the Concourse at AECC
The Civic Reception/Ice Breaker will be held along with Conference Registration on Monday 18 June 2007 in the Concourse at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre from 1730 - 1830hrs. The Lord Provost of Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Council are kindly hosting this event which provides delegates with an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones while enjoying a glass of wine. Delegates will be welcomed to the city by both the Lord Provost and the Conference Chair and will be free to head into town and explore the City's many restaurants and bars at the end of the reception. This event is included within all Registration Fee types.
Exhibitors Reception - Tuesday 19 June 2007 1730 - 1930 hrs in the Exhibition Hall at AECC
The Exhibitors Reception will be held on Tuesday 19 June 2007 from 1730 - 1930hrs in the Oceans '07 Aberdeen Exhibition Hall at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Drinks and canapés will be served while delegates and exhibitors mingle and network amongst the exhibits. This event is included within all Registration Fee types excluding One Day Registrations unless you are registered for Tuesday 19 June 2007.
Ceilidh - Tuesday 19 June 2007 2000 - 2300 hrs
This pre-purchased ticketed event will be held at Elphinstone Hall/Beach Ballroom following the Exhibitors Reception from 2000 - 2300hrs. This evening will be fun, relaxed and a great chance for delegates to experience some Scottish Country Dancing! A local Ceilidh band along with a caller and dancers to provide instruction will play for us and after a welcome drink and some dancing a traditional Scottish supper will be served. This is an evening of Scottish culture not to be missed. Tickets can be purchased for £35 inc VAT when registering on-line.

Conference Banquet - Wednesday 20 June 2007 1900 hrs for 2000 hrs, carriages at 2300 hrs at the historic and spectacular Fyvie Castle
The historic Fyvie Castle is situated approximately 25 miles from the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and is the spectacular location for the Conference Banquet which is being held on Wednesday 20 June 2007. Coaches will take delegates out to Fyvie where they will be greeted by a traditional Scottish piper. Welcome drinks will be served while delegates are treated to a tour of the castle followed by a three-course dinner in a marquee on the South Lawn. Delegates will also be able to experience the traditional 'Address to a Haggis' toast and sample Scotland's best known national dish. This evening promises a taste of Scottish hospitality, culture, cuisine and music along with the chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This event is included within the Registration Fee for full delegates only. Students, One-day Delegates, Life Members and Spouses can purchase tickets for £85 inc VAT when registering online.
